"The government that governs best, governs least. Vote Moore for less. Vote Moore for America."

Born in Lacona, Iowa in 1974, Margaret Moore has been dedicated to her family and community her whole life. She has been politically active since her sophomore year in High school. Lacona, a small town with a population of 361, witnessed the tragic Great Lacona fire of 1990. The fire began with a horse kicking a lantern, and it ended with several casualties, including the death of Moore’s parents and Lacona’s beloved mayor. Moore, at only 16, stepped in becoming interim mayor while also becoming a provider for her family. While she was mayor she successfully converted every family in Lacona to electricity and Christianity, and she still managed to get straight A’s! Loving her time as interim mayor, Moore decided to study political science at the University of Iowa, becoming the first person in her town to go to college. In her freshman year of college, she met Aaron Moore, a medicine major, and they were married sophomore year. Following graduation, the Moores moved to Providence so Margaret could attend Law school at Brown. In the midst of law school, Margaret became pregnant with her first daughter at 22 years old, however, she did not get an abortion. Margaret successfully finished law school and raised her daughter Samantha. Wanting Samantha to experience the prairie life which shaped her, the Moores moved back to the midwest, this time setting up camp in Des Moines, Iowa. Moore ran to be a Representative upon her arrival, and she ran as a heroine for the underrepresented hero, the Midwest farmer. She was a representative for one term before she decided she wanted to run for senator in 2006, once again thriving on her message for the common midwest man. During her time in Congressional politics, Moore became an opponent of the irrational enlargement of Federal government during the Obama administration. Frustrated, she decided to run for President of the United States, with her family’s full support. She hopes to serve the unforgotten heroes, the backbone of this great nation with conservative reform. Moore stands for less interference of the federal government, so you can have what this country was built on, Liberty. God bless.
